Small, But Not Terrible

My room is cramped, I always feel like the furniture is too big for the room. The walls are colored suicide white. I'm not allowed to paint it because I live under the university dorm. I believe I have the smallest single room in the building. Imagine this, I share a communal bathroom with fifty other people. I do wish for a reserved space where I can just throw all my art supplies on the ground and start drawing. I'm too obsessive compulsive to just splatter junk on the floor. I try to keep it neat as possible, so I can be more organize and try to find things easily. I have live here for two years now, it's my comfort and joy. When I get inside my room, everything shuts down and it makes me feel relaxed. It might sound like the worst possible situation to be in a single room with towering furniture, somehow I got used to it.

President Barack Obama 2009 Inauguration

It's sad to say when this momentous event happened, I didn't get to see the president getting sworn in. I was actually at the library, fourth floor in the quiet section. I had to refine some of my portfolio work and concentrate on laying them out for a presentation. Before I left my dorm, I turned on the television and saw some of the highlights from CNN. The parts that I saw were the announcements of the guests, the inaugural dance, and the parade. Good thing we have video sharing websites!
